Publisher Success Executive
As a Publisher Success Executive at AdFirst Media, you’ll actively seek out new publisher partnerships, and using your understanding of their unique offering, pitch our service to help them peak to new levels of success. You’ll use creative and out-of-the-box thinking to reach potential clients, willing to go the extra mile to make contact while remaining respectful and professional. You are excited about the sales process and ‘the chase’.
You’ll also build publisher relationships and leverage existing industry relationships to follow up leads and convert them into clients.
This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of an established but very fresh media sales house that’s poised for growth after a successful formative period. You’ll work directly with the two partners in the business and will have plenty of opportunity for career progression as we grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
Actively prospect for new publisher clients using a variety of channels and executions, and pitch AFM’s service to secure revenue-generating partnerships
Utilise a combination of existing industry contacts, research, and consistent outreach to identify and secure high quality, appropriate prospects
Work with and update AdFirst Media’s CRM & continuously improve prospecting process
Oversee new publisher onboarding and build strong client relationships
Proactively manage existing publisher relationships & be their first point of contact, delivering an exceptional, publisher-centric service which drives long-term client retention
Send and schedule publisher reports, and be proactive in addressing possible publisher queries, concerns, problems or issues
Give insightful updates and analysis that will help publishers understand how AFM is performing, contextualise that with market conditions, and educate about industry updates
Work with internal stakeholders to suggest optimisations and opportunities to publishers
Work with the management team to improve acquisition success rates, onboarding process, and publisher management to deliver an even better service to our partnered publishers
Represent publisher interest to internal stakeholders
Help publisher set & meet their goals and KPIs
Salary & Benefits
Base salary of £24,000 - £30,000 pa, based on experience
Generous commission for new publisher sign-ups
Fully remote, UK based (though London & South-East based preferred for interview & rare in-person meetings)
Career progression opportunity to department lead in the future
Basis: Full-time, or part-time if highly experienced
Skills & Qualities
A passion for sales, enjoying the chase and the potential of success
Excellent writing & communication skills (English)
A creative, lateral thinker and excellent problem solver
Resilient, diligent, and relentless in spirit
Great attention to detail
Driven, proactive, and with strong initiative, being able to take control and ownership of a sales situation
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage own time
Ideally some relevant existing industry contacts to hit the ground running
Relationship management skills
At least 1-year of experience in a similar role, with sales experience preferred though not essential
Technically minded or with prior knowledge of the online advertising landscape and processes preferred
Good knowledge of, or familiarity with office software, especially Excel/Sheets
Comfortable with leading and being part of video calls/meetings, and generally communicating via phone, email, video, and in person
